Case Study:
Camden Market Food Hall

INTRODUCTION:

PSS was given the opportunity to work on the new Camden Market Food Hall, tasked with installing containment and wiring for outdoor heaters in open areas. The works were to be carried out out-of-hours to ensure there was no disruption to the surrounding businesses.

CHALLENGES

With a significant amount of existing exposed containment, this project presented the challenge of installing new conduit that perfectly matched the existing work. Given the areas high traffic, we had to perform the work outside of regular hours, starting at 2 a.m. and finishing by 8 a.m. each day, allowing us only a small window to complete the task.

RESULTS

Despite the challenges, PSS successfully completed the installation at the Camden Market Food Hall. Our team matched the new conduit with the existing exposed containment, ensuring a seamless and aesthetically pleasing result. By working during the early morning hours, we minimised disruption to the market area. The project was completed on time and met the high standards expected by the client, showcasing our ability to deliver quality work under demanding conditions.
